Stream Data Centers announces the sale of its Ready-To-Fit Data Center in San Antonio, Texas, to a Fortune 100 company.

Data center operator Stream Data Centers announced on Tuesday it has sold its San Antonio data center to an unnamed “Fortune 100 Corporation”.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The 150,000-square-foot data center is located on 33 acres in Westover Hills in San Antonio.

Earlier this week, the company also sold its data center in Richardson, Texas, to Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT.

The purchasing company conducted a national search and considered multiple locations in the Southwest US before deciding on Stream’s data center in San Antonio.

The Stream RTF data center features 8-inch-thick concrete walls, a concrete roof system designed to withstand 175 mph winds, as well as two, 30 MW electric feeds from two, 300 MW substations.

“Stream Realty has completed its “built to fit”, powered base building datacenter shell in Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas, adjacent to Microsoft’s facility. The facility (we won’t call it a datacenter just yet) offers 150,000 square feet of space (expandable to 350,000 square feet) with a minimum of 200-foot setbacks on the property, dual 10MW power feeds from separate 200MW substations and the ability to expand the utility feeds to 30MW each through conduits that are already in place to support this expansion.
