San Antonio Ready-to-Fit Data Center

Purpose-Built, Structurally-Enhanced Powered Shell Data Center

Westover Hills Business Park

San Antonio, TX

Stream chose San Antonio for their second Ready-to-Fit Data Center development because it has become the top emerging data center market in the country. San Antonio enjoys many of the same positive attributes as the DFW Metroplex including: central U.S. location, new and reliable infrastructure, virtually no risk of natural disasters, an international airport and a pro-business environment. Additionally, San Antonio has been able to attract numerous data center users through its extremely competitive electricity pricing from CPS Energy, the nation's largest municipally owned utility.

Stream chose the site adjacent to Microsoft's recently completed 470,000 square foot data center in Westover Hills Business Park and adjacent to a brand new 300 megawatt substation. Westover Hills is the premier master-planned business park in San Antonio and boasts high security and robust infrastructure. Many of the country's largest companies have major office and/or data center facilities in Westover Hills including Microsoft, Lowe's Corporation, JPMorgan Chase & Co., The Hartford, The Capital Group Companies, Valero Energy Corporation, Frost Bank, and CHRISTUS Health.

The Stream Ready-to-Fit Data Center Development in San Antonio will consist of a single story, structurally-enhanced, shell data center building containing approximately 150,000 square feet on 33 acres of land in Westover Hills. This secure, shell building will be delivered with city approval in place all essential data center elements, including generators, cooling towers and fuel storage tanks. This will allow companies to immediately design and build the internal infrastructure to their specifications.
