Stream’s annual celebration of National Construction Safety Week represents a vital opportunity to reinforce the habits that help every person on our jobsites work safely each day — a foundation that ensures Stream can continue to deliver exceptional, uninterrupted results to customers and communities alike. Across our teams, Safety Week 2026, featuring the national ‘All In Together’ theme, created space for hands-on learning, practical demonstrations and meaningful recognition of the craft professionals and partners who help ensure our safe day-to-day duties.
Across our sites, Safety Week 2026 was a strong reminder that safety is not a one-time initiative—it is a daily commitment built through planning, awareness, engagement and shared accountability. The week’s demonstrations, conversations and appreciation moments all reflected the same goal: making sure every teammate goes home safely at the end of the day.
Here’s a peek into what our team got up to at some of our national campuses:
PHX: Goodyear, AZ
Safety Week at the PHX Goodyear Campus brought together more than 500 craft team members for a week of events focused on topics including high-risk activity awareness, mental health, and working from heights, while also celebrating the craft professionals who model safe work every day.
Activities included a vendor fair featuring more than 10 vendors showcasing products designed to support safer work in the field. The event also included lunch and raffle prizes, giving team members a chance to connect with vendors and explore new safety solutions. On Thursday, Trevor Price, a Senior Safety Manager at Stream, led a dropped object demonstration that highlighted the real risks associated with falling items in a memorable, hands-on way (don’t worry, the only things harmed in this were a few watermelons). The week concluded with a Friday craft appreciation event featuring BBQ, snow cones, and dunk tanks.
DFW: Wilmer, TX
In our Dallas metro location, Safety Week served as a focused, high-engagement opportunity to reinforce core safety principles through demonstrations, vendor-led training, daily interaction and recognition of teammates for safe work. The week emphasized hazard awareness, proactive risk mitigation and the understanding that personal protective equipment is an important control — but never a substitute for identifying and addressing hazards at the source.
Key highlights include fall protection training, hand and glove safety, power tools demonstrations, heat illness prevention education and more. Of course, to keep spirits up and people fueled, a BBQ lunch was also provided — alongside raffles and swag (including reusable water bottles to help our folks not only stay safe and hydrated but also help uphold our commitments to sustainability).
ORD: Elk Grove Village, IL
During Safety Week in the Chicago metro, each day began with a different safety topic led by local partner Meade’s safety team. Topics ranged from fall protection to drilled pier safety, and lunch, safety trivia (complete with prizes) kept the week fun and engaging. The Elk Grove Village project continues to be safe and stress-free thanks to the hard work of all involved.
A Stand-Out Event
Of course, this is only a glimpse into how our teams and locations participated across our national footprint — but across the board, hands-on demonstrations, collaborative partner engagement and team building continue to support our teams’ safety. These kinds of opportunities for direct engagement and discussion across supervisory and leadership personnel, safety teams, vendors, and the craft workforce continue to strengthen accountability and culture.
