Data Backup Service

In the event of equipment failure, natural disaster or cyberattack, a Data Backup Service can make the difference between a minor inconvenience and a devastating blow. This service is often offered by a data center or other mission-critical experts to restore original data after a data-loss event.

Data backup services serve two purposes — to recover data after it’s been deleted or corrupted, and to retrieve data from a specific period in time.

Although data backup services play a vital role in disaster recovery, it’s important to note that they should be part of a more comprehensive disaster recovery plan that accounts for complex configurations such as computer clusters, active directory servers or database servers.
