Telecom Vault
A Telecom Vault is a type of utility vault that’s buried underground and gives access to switchgear for electrical or telecommunications equipment.
Telecom vaults are most commonly constructed out of reinforced concrete boxes, poured concrete or brick and are often accessible from a street, sidewalk or other outdoor space, as opposed to a building basement. Small telecom vaults are frequently accessed via a manhole or grate from above.
