Santa Clara VI Data Center

Stream Data Centers acquired this property, then a vacant unpowered shell, in January of 2006. It had been built by a local self-storage developer in an attempt to capitalize on rising demand for data center capacity in Silicon Valley. We brought in four electrical feeds from Silicon Valley Power to support 10 MW of critical load then we worked to market the facility to potential buyers. We sold the data center in January of 2007 to a leading retail colocation provider.
