Stream Data Centers, a national data center developer and operator, has announced that Michael Lahoud, former Senior Vice President of Technology Services, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Partner.
In his new position, Lahoud is responsible for the implementation of the company’s overall business strategies and go-to-market operations, including the expansion of Stream’s Hyperscale Solutions and Critical Environments practice.
“Lahoud’s well-deserved promotion and enhanced responsibilities are to insure that Stream’s unique service delivery is distributed in strategic alignment with the company’s mission of providing end-to-end services to the data center market at large,” said Paul Moser, co-managing partner of Stream Data Centers.
Lahoud has more than 13 years of experience in critical systems design and operations, with projects including avionics platforms for $100 million plus military aircraft, solutions architecture supporting a number of global power and cooling product manufacturers, and data center operations. Additionally, he has managed Stream’s critical facilities and technology practice since 2010, overseeing business strategy, with an emphasis on managing the data center portfolio and positioning leadership for growing areas of the organization.
“Providing the right assortment of data center products and optimized services is key to our long term success in the industry,” said Lahoud. “Leveraged by a long history of success, Stream has continuously delivered innovation in acquiring, developing and operating mission-critical facilities for our customers and industry partners.”
The Stream product set is designed to serve a full slate of critical environment services in, and beyond, owned and managed facilities, to offer energy procurement services, network and cloud consulting, development and sale-leaseback services with multi-layered critical environment services to the market.
“Our concierge-style approach to data center operations and service is available in and outside of our owned and managed facilities,” added Lahoud. “We have designed critical environments service packages in modular components to serve all customers and other data center providers. Even friendly competitors utilize our core services to bring value and to complete their service delivery to their end users.”
Lahoud is actively involved in the technology community, serving on the Partner Council of Infrastructure Masons (IM), an organization established to provide infrastructure executives and technical professionals, an independent forum to connect, grow and give back. He is also on the Board of Governors for the 7×24 Exchange Lone Star Chapter, an organization that is the leading knowledge exchange in North Texas among those who design, build, use and maintain mission critical enterprise information infrastructures aiming to improve end-to-end reliability.
