Chip Faulmann — an instrumental lead across 100+MW of IT capacity development, 4.5 million craft hours of labor and $1.5 billion in construction spend to date at Stream — was drawn to data centers by the exciting pace and challenge of hyperscale projects. However, Chip’s development successes can be attributed to his favorite Hemingway words of wisdom: Never mistake motion for progress.
With a reputation for methodical leadership, Chip has helped teams and projects gain and maintain momentum and achieve reliable results with a focus on organization and ingenuity. Since joining Originally joining Stream’s Design & Construction group as Director of Construction in 2023, today, Chip is building out campus and regional leadership within the construction team, strategically positioning Stream and its customers for continued growth.
Chip’s background as a General Contractor overseeing complex healthcare and data center projects shaped his belief that culture and empowered teams are the foundation for success — but his taste for adventure has cultivated a keen knowledge of how to navigate challenge.
An avid skier and mountain biker, Chip knows that investing the time and energy required to get things right and keep moving forward is a lifesaver when alone on the mountain. On the job, though, this approach is complemented by an understanding that building strong partnerships and delivering collaboratively is what keeps the Stream Team moving forward and achieving exceptional outcomes.
