Almost everything about building and operating data centers has changed since Paul Moser co-founded Stream Data Centers in 1999. What hasn’t changed is Paul’s commitment to being an enduring partner for customers’ evolving needs.

In the early 2000s, Paul led Stream’s expansion into Silicon Valley to support new geographic diversity requirements for a large and growing technology customer. When demand began to outstrip existing supply, he led the pivot to building powered shells. When the financial crisis made capital outlays difficult for customers, he led the launch of a turnkey colocation offering. As cloud computing took off, he led Stream’s development of a hyperscale design and build-to-suit service.

A real estate guy through-and-through, Paul takes a measured approach to finding and capitalizing on opportunities. His strategic direction ensures Stream remains focused on meeting customers’ needs with multi-gigawatts of data center capacity in various stages of development across core markets. (It’s this same focus, patience, forethought and follow-through that serves Paul well when he’s fly fishing, a pastime he has enjoyed since college.)

When he’s not fishing for his next great catch (or new capacity), Paul is crediting his team for Stream’s success. He has always prioritized investment in great people, which is why Stream remains a partner of choice for the world’s most sophisticated data center customers.
