Exciting news! We’re getting close to completion of our DFW VII Hyperscale Data Center in Garland, Texas. As you can see in our live cam and drone videos, we’ve had an army of construction workers, engineers and other experts working hard to bring what will be our seventh development in the greater Dallas market online. After a busy first half of the year, we’re thrilled to say that all the hard work is paying off, and we look forward to showing off our new facility!
This new DFW-area data center will be even larger, expandable and more flexible than all our previous hyperscale developments in the area. Because our hyperscale facility offers an expandable 138,132 square foot data center with redundant 40 MW utility feeds from an on-site substation, it offers a perfect solution for cloud providers and large enterprises involved with both cloud and high-performance computing. Located on a 22.66-acre site, the 400,000 square foot final buildout campus is located near bustling Northeast Dallas, Richardson and Garland amenities, power and fiber infrastructure — a great location!
Other key features include:
- Initial 138,132 square-foot structurally enhanced data center with land available for multiple phases
- Two (2) 40 MW utility feeds from an on-site Oncor substation offering power at competitive rates
- Two diverse telco entrances with multiple fiber providers and a mix of local, long haul and dark fiber providers to the site through multiple routes
- Enhanced business continuity in an optimal location outside of flight paths, railways and FEMA 500-year flood plain
